Premier League returnees, Leicester City have rekindled discussions with Crystal Palace to sign Jordan Ayew.
Ayew is in the final year of his contract at Selhurst Park, and Palace are open to offers for the seasoned forward this summer.
Leicester City has reportedly made a £4 million bid for the 32-year-old Ghanaian international.
Ayew, who has made 275 appearances for Palace, remains a sought-after player, with multiple clubs showing interest in acquiring his services.
Steve Cooper, Leicester’s head coach and a fan of Ayew, is eager to add the former Swansea City forward’s experience to his squad.
Leicester is focused on bolstering their attacking options, and Ayew is high on their list of targets.
However, even if a transfer fee is agreed upon, Leicester will still need to negotiate personal terms with Ayew to complete the deal.
Despite the ongoing transfer talks, Ayew featured in Crystal Palace’s Premier League opener against Brentford last weekend. He continues to train with the Eagles ahead of their upcoming match against West Ham at Selhurst Park.
