A devastating fire has destroyed the girls’ dormitory at Jacobu Senior High Technical School in the Amansie Central District of the Ashanti Region.
The blaze, which occurred just days before the students were set to begin their final exams (WASSCE), has left the students in a state of despair.
The fire consumed not only the dormitory but also the students’ educational materials, practical tools, equipment, clothes, and personal items, reducing everything to ashes.
The loss of their practical tools is particularly concerning as they were crucial for the students’ preparation for their upcoming exams.
