Running mate of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has told Ghanaians that not all governments are the same.
According to him, between an NPP government and National Democratic Congress (NDC), the former remains the best.
Napo as he is popularly known made this statement in the Ahafo North constituency as part of his Ashanti Regional campaign tour.
Speaking at a rally in Tepa, Dr Prempeh compared some achievements of the NPP government from former President Kufuor to President Akufo Addo’s administration against what he described as an abysmal performance of the NDC who have ruled Ghana longer than any party.
The incumbent MP for Ahafo Ano North, who is not seeking re-election, Sulemana Sanid also urged the people to reject former NDC MP, Kwasi Adusei who is mounting a comeback.
He said the former MP failed to bring a single development to the area even though his party was in government when he served from 2013 to 2017.
Mr Sanid therefore urged constituents to massively voted for the Director General of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NaDMO), Eric Nana Agyemang Prempeh who is seeking to succeed him.
Nana Agyemang Prempeh added that, anytime NPP is government, Tepa and its environs develop rapidly.
He said if the people vote for him and Dr. Bawumia, the developmental progress of the area will move to a different level.
