Abena Osei-Asare resigns from ADB

Agricultural Development Bank PLC (ADB) has announced the resignation of Abena Osei-Asare, Minister of State at the Finance Ministry, as a non-executive director, effective August 7, 2024.

Madam Osei-Asare, who has been with ADB PLC since August 2018, served in various roles, including as chair of the bank’s Risk Committee.

Her resignation comes as a result of her recent appointments to the Board of the Bank of Ghana and the Financial Stability Council, which require her full attention and commitment.

“On behalf of the Board, Management, and Staff, the Board Chairman, Daasebre Akuamoah Agyapong II, expressed appreciation to Abena Osei-Asare for her invaluable contributions to the growth and development of ADB PLC during her tenure,” read a statement from the bank.
