Ghana international, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has shared his thoughts after making his Premier League debut.

The 20-year-old played for Leicester City in their season opener against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday night at the King Power Stadium.

Tottenham took the lead in the first half with a goal from Pedro Porro.

However, Leicester equalized in the second half when Jamie Vardy converted a cross from Fatawu Issahaku, ending the match in a 1-1 draw.

After playing a key role in Leicester’s promotion to the Premier League last season, Fatawu is eager to help the team stay in the top division and was thrilled to make his first appearance in England’s top-flight league.

“This was a special day, my debut in the Premier League,” Fatawu said after the match. “It was a great feeling, and I’m happy we earned a point. This is a dream come true for me, and I’ll keep pushing forward.”

Fatawu Issahaku joined Leicester City on a permanent transfer from Portuguese club Sporting CP after an impressive season in the English Championship, where he played a significant part in Leicester’s return to the Premier League.

The talented winger will aim to maintain his strong performance when Leicester travels to face Fulham on Saturday at Craven Cottage.
