The match ended 1-1 after regulation time, with Hearts of Oak coming from behind to force the contest to penalties.

The Phobians faced an early setback when former forward Kwadwo Obeng Jnr gave Heart of Lions the lead just three minutes into the game.

However, Hearts of Oak regrouped and staged a stunning comeback in the second half.

Mohammed Hussein scored the equalizer just two minutes before full-time, capitalizing on a rebounded free kick from Ransford Mensah that had hit the crossbar.
