Kwaku Bonsam advocates for smaller gods in Parliament

-

Popular fetish priest, Nana Kwaku Bonsam is advocating for Members of Parliament to swear with deities [bosom] when taking their Oath of Office.

This, he believes, will put fear in politicians and prevent them from looting the nation’s coffers when in power.

Nana Kwaku Bonsam noted that if the status quo of swearing with the Bible and Quran remains, Ghana will continue to bleed.

He made this comment during the Akomfoo Da fetish priests’ day at the ongoing Meko Bono 2024 festival at Techiman in the Bono East region.

Fetish priests from within and outside the region gathered at the durbar grounds to showcase their powers.

Nana Kwaku Bonsam, a prominent fetish priest from Afrancho in the Ashanti Region, also attended with his team to support the program.

The Meko Bono festival is a homecoming event for all Bonos across Ghana, aimed at contributing to the development of Bono lands and reinforcing local culture and traditions.

The week-long activities will end with a grand event at Techiman on Saturday which includes health screenings, cleanup exercises, and more.

Obiba, one of the organizers of the Meko Bono festival, shared insights with Adom News about the significance and activities of the Meko Bono 2024 festival.
