Newly released footage has captured the chaotic escape of seven armed robbers from Humble Gold Buying Enterprise at Wassa Dompoase in the Amenfi East Municipality of the Western Region.

The robbers, who carried two sacks filled with gold and GHS 150,000, fled the scene while firing several shots, creating a chaotic atmosphere.

The incident, which occurred in broad daylight, captured the robbers storming the gold buying shop, demanding possessions, and violently attacking those present.

A gold agent was shot twice, while two shopkeepers sustained injuries from gunshots and knife stabs during the struggle.

Fortunately, they are now in stable condition.

The footage vividly depicts the robbers carrying the sacks on their heads and brandishing rifles.

Some of the assailants can be seen shooting sporadically to intimidate bystanders and facilitate their escape.

This robbery is the second such incident within four days in the Amenfi East Municipality, following a similar attack at Wassa Akropong.

The local community remains on edge as police intensify their manhunt to apprehend the culprits responsible for these brazen crimes.
