Gomoa Tarkwa chief descends on politicians for abandoning his town

-

The newly installed chief of Gomoa Tarkwa in the Gomoa West District of the Central Region, Nana Atta Kwakwa Egyir Oposu VII is peeved about the lack of development in the area.

Speaking at his coronation, he said successive governments have ignored the people of Gomoa Tarkwa for years.

Ahead of the electioneering campaign, the chief said they are waiting for politicians who will step foot on Gomoa Tarkwa land to campaign.

In an interview with Adom News, Nana Atta Kwakwa Egyir Oposu said Gomoa Tarkwa is a farming community, but bad roads are affecting their economic activities in the area.

An immediate action by government, he added will help improve the lives of the people.

Meanwhile, Nana Obokom Atta, chief of Gomoa Dasum, also called on Ghanaians to respect our culture rather than always trying to copy western culture.
