The New Patriotic Party members in the Assin Central Constituency are calling on the Assin Central NDC Parliamentary candidate, Nurein Shaibu Migyima, to retract and apologize to the people of Assin Central for putting them in the news for the wrong reasons.

Mr. Migyima while on a tour with the NDC running mate, Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, at Assin Ewusem is quoted to have said Assin Central is toping the promiscuity chart in the region due to the high rate of unemployment.

“When it comes to promiscuity (Edwaman) in the Central Region and Ghana at large, Assin Central is number one. When it comes to fraud, Assin Central is number one. When it comes to stealing, Assin Central is number one” he said.

Speaking at a press conference, the Assin Central NPP Communications Officer, Alex Ankomah, alias British Lawyer, demanded that the NDC candidate provide data to support his claims.

Meanwhile, some aggrieved NPP sympathizers in the Assin Central Constituency shared their views on the matter.
