NDC won’t be selling phones at Circle’s Tip-Toe lane to solve unemployment – Isaac Adongo [Video]

Ranking Member of Parliament’s Finance Committee, Isaac Adongo, has assured Ghanaians that John Mahama will address the country’s economic challenges if re-elected.

Speaking to NDC supporters in Tamale during the party’s campaign launch, Adongo highlighted the NDC’s track record in effectively handling economic issues.

He criticized the current administration, stressing that an NDC government would not resort to measures like selling mobile phones to the youth as a solution to economic problems.

Mr. Adongo noted that, the challenges faced by Ghanaians require more substantial solutions than the piecemeal approach of offering phones on installment plans.

“I can assure you that with John Dramani Mahama at the hem, I can assure you that with you are not going to see the Presidency at the Tiptoe lane selling mobile phones for GHC1.00 or GHC2.00.”

“We will find a solution to fixing the problems of our country and create opportunities for our youth. Let me tell you that the only political party that has the history, of fixing challenging economies in our country is the NDC,” he assured.

His comments come on the back of a promise from the Vice President and flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Bawumia, promising to create a credit scoring system where people can leverage to purchase mobile phones on credit and pay a cedi or two at the end of each month.
