Ghana Premier League giants, Asante Kotoko has signed attacker Saaka Dauda.

The 24-year-old forward joins the Porcupine Warriors from the relegated side Bofoakwa Tano on a three-year deal, which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.

Dauda became a sought-after player after an impressive 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season, during which he scored eight goals in 32 appearances despite his team’s relegation.

As a key player for Bofoakwa Tano, Dauda helped the team reach the MTN FA Cup final, though they ultimately lost to Nsoatreman FC. His outstanding performance makes him a valuable addition to Asante Kotoko.

In addition to Dauda, Asante Kotoko has already announced the signings of Joseph Ablorh, Elvis Kyei Baffour, Ndongani Samba Gilbani Oneil, Emmanuel Antwi, Esmat Hassabalbagi, and AbdoelKarem AbdoelRahman Yoouef Yagoub.

The Reds are aiming for a successful 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season after a disappointing previous campaign, where they finished 6th.
