Hearts of Oak is set to face off against Heart of Lions in the 2024 Gbese Mantse Homowo Peace Charity Cup.
This one-off match, which serves as an anniversary friendly, is a highlight of the Homowo festival celebrations.
The upcoming game features Hearts of Oak and Heart of Lions, both of whom competed in the Ghana Premier League during the 2023/24 season.
The fixture will take place at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Last year’s match between Hearts and Great Olympics was cancelled, but organizers are committed to ensuring a smooth and successful event this year.
To kick off the excitement, the Organizing Committee will hold a press launch on Tuesday, July 23, at the Gbese Mantse’s palace, Ussher Fort, in Accra.
In their recent match, Hearts of Oak suffered a 2-1 defeat to Asante Kotoko in the inaugural Democracy Cup held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
