The final funeral rites as been held for Theophilus Ansah, the 18-year-old student of Ghana National College who died allegedly due to negligence.

He was laid in state in his family house at Anomabo in the Central Region.

The atmosphere was filled with sorrow as friends, family, classmates, and sympathizers gathered to bid farewell to Theophilus.

The atmosphere was filled with grief as his classmates took turns reading their tributes, expressing their heartfelt condolences and memories of their dear friend.

The family of Theophilus reiterated their calls for justice during the funeral, noting that his death is due to negligence.

They pledged their commitment to cooperate with investigations to ensure justice is served.

Theophilus, a third-year Science student of the Afedu House, passed away at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital on Saturday, July 6, 2024, after being referred from the Ewim Polyclinic.

He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, but unfortunately died three days later.
