-

Kimathi Rawlings, the son of the late former President Jerry John Rawlings (JJ), who is not typically involved in active politics, joined the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign on Saturday, July 20, 2024.

Kimathi joined his sister, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, the Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey, at a rally in Accra for the NDC’s flagbearer, former President John Dramani Mahama.

The NDC Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Haruna Iddrisu, introduced Kimathi on stage.

Together with his sister, he energized the crowd with a series of NDC chants.

Zanetor passionately encouraged the attendees to vote for Mahama and all NDC parliamentary candidates.

She said electing only Mahama would hinder his ability to effectively address the issues created by the current government.

Zanetor urged Ghanaians to vote for both the NDC presidential and parliamentary candidates to enable swift and comprehensive governance from January 7, 2025.
