Serie A side, Atalanta BC, has secured the services of Ghanaian midfielder, Ibrahim Sulemana.
The talented 21-year-old returns to the Europa League champions after impressing during his debut season at Cagliari, where he featured prominently under manager Claudio Ranieri, playing 21 games and scoring two goals.
The transfer agreement between Atalanta and Cagliari was finalized on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, marking Sulemana’s official return to the Nerazzurri.
Atalanta announced the news with enthusiasm on social media, hailing Sulemana as a pivotal addition to their midfield.

Sulemana’s standout performances at Cagliari also earned him recognition on the international stage, receiving his first call-up to the Black Stars for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
He made his debut in a memorable 2-1 away victory against Mali and was subsequently included in the squad for the match against Central African Republic.
As Atalanta prepares for the upcoming season, including a Super Cup showdown against Real Madrid and a return to the UEFA Champions League, Sulemana joins his new teammates for pre-season training for the upcoming season.
