Techiman Krobo in the Techiman North District of the Bono East Region has got a new market, constructed by the Member of Parliament for the area, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare.
The new market offers improved stalls, better sanitation facilities, and enhanced security.
This is expected to boost the local economy, benefiting both traders and customers.
In an interview with Adom News, Nana Amobea Dufie, the Queenmother of Krobo and Kyidom Hemaa of Techiman Traditional Council, along with Yeboah Richard, the Assembly Member for the area, commended the hardworking MP for her efforts.
They advised the market women to maintain the new facility to ensure its longevity.

Meanwhile, the MP for Techiman North Constituency, Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare, acknowledged the challenges of being an opposition MP due to the “winner-takes-all” system in partisan politics.
She expressed pride in her performance over the past three and a half years, citing achievements in infrastructure, social support, employment, and various logistics.
She urged constituents to renew her mandate in the upcoming December 7th General Elections.
She assured the market women of loan opportunities to expand their businesses if the National Democratic Congress (NDC) comes to power.
