The National Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, has said Ghana’s challenges is due to mismanagement by the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to him, the NPP should stop blaming COVID-19 and the Russia-Ukraine because they are responsible for the economic woes.
Mr. Gyamfi in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Friday said the NPP Member of Parliament who called for the removal of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta is an admission of their government’s incompetence.
“NPP is responsible for the economy’s downturn, not COVID-19 and the Russian-Ukraine war. 137 NPP MPs came together in a consensus that the Finance Minister must resign for mismanaging the economy. Meaning they have admitted that the country’s economic challenges result from mismanagement,” he added.
