The family are now raising money for his funeral, PlymouthLive reports.
They say the loss of him at just 28 years old has left them “devastated”, a year after the death of his own father.

“Ryan is now at peace with his mum, dad and sister.”
Following the sudden death, Ryan’s brother Lee has set up a GoFundMepage to help with raise funds for the funeral and other costs associated with losing someone. Lee describes Ryan as a “devoted” dad and partner who will be “sadly missed”.
He said: “He left us very suddenly leaving behind many family members including his partner Beth and beautiful newborn daughter Darla whom he both adored and loved becoming a father recently.
“Ryan was a lovely young man devoted to his little girl and partner and will be sadly missed any funds donated with be thankfully received and appreciated by all the family.”
A close friend of Ryan, who knew him for almost 20 years, has described it as a “heart-breaking situation for everybody involved” and hopes that any donations will go towards “the send off he deserves”.
He said: “Ryan has left behind his partner that he loved massively and his 2 week old baby and this is a truly heart-breaking situation for everybody involved.
“Any money raised in the GoFundMe will go towards helping give Ryan the send off he deserves and hopefully we can raise enough to help the family he left behind.”
