Delegates in the Anlo Constituency will on September 6, 2020, acclaim Seth Kwarshie Yormewu, as the parliamentary candidate for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the December 7 polls.
Constituency executives, electoral coordinators, polling station executives and some national officers will converge at the Anloga Zion College for the popular acclamation of Mr Yormewu who doubles as the Municipal Chief Executive for the area.
According to Evans Nimako, the party’s Director of Elections for Anlo Constituency, the acclamation of Mr Yormewu has become necessary following the decision by “constituency and regional executives to throw their weight behind him despite he being in a race with Mr Yayra Dzakadzie.
