The Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, says he is not bothered by people who mock him about his secondary education at Prempeh College.
Mr Boasiako, popularly known as Chairman Wontumi, says he would rather choose ‘silence’ over ‘response’ in the matter, noting that education was nothing if it doesn’t lead you into acquisition of wealth.
You know, sometimes silence speaks; if somebody thinks that you are an illiterate or you didn’t go to school, you don’t have to respond. At the end of the day, it’s about your pocket and how you’re living, he said.
Chairman Wontumi’s comments come not long after President Akufo-Addo had paid tribute to a long list of great products of Prempeh College including him.
