Ghanaian actor cum tailor, Elikem Kumordzi, has found his way into the bad books of some actors and Ghanaians after he advised filmmakers to find day jobs instead of depending on producers for salaries.
Following an allegation by Kofi Adjorlolo that movie producers do not pay actors for their services, Ghanaian actors have come out with their own claims of similar treatments, narrations that have obviously infuriated Elikem.
Addressing the issue in an Instagram video, Elikem Kumordzi advised his colleagues to find ‘day jobs’ rather than complain and throw jabs at producers.
Using his experience as a case study, he revealed he was running petty errands for which he was given movie roles as compensation despite being a graduate of Legon with a certificate in drama.
He explained he appreciated the work rather than demand salaries and advised his fellow colleagues to have passion for the job and not necessarily pursue acting for the money it brings.

His comments infuriated some colleagues with the likes of James Gardiner, Juliet Ibrahim and other Ghanaians quick to jab and shred the actor into pieces.
Elikem was, however, quick to reply some users who were turning the banter into trolls, educating a few while practically insulting those he thought deserved it.
