Communication Director of Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo, has dismissed reports suggesting that head coach, Edward Nii Odoom is not fully in charge.
Following their stalemate with Ashgold at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday night, reports were rife that the former Tema Youth coach was not in full control of the team.
However, Opare Addo has rubbished the reports, indicating that the soft-speaking gaffer was fully in charge of the team.
“He [Edward Nii Odoom] is fully in charge of the club. No one is influencing his job,” he told Asempa FM.
“At the training grounds and team selection, he is totally in charge of things; no management member dictates to him on what to do.
“We are having difficulties winning games but he will surely turn things around for the club,” he added.
Hearts of Oak will be hosted by Aduana Stars in the matchday nine fixtures on Sunday at the Nana Agyeman Badu I Park.
The Phobian club are currently occupying the 12th position with 10 points.
