Maxwell Konadu content with stalemate with WAFA

Asante Kotoko head trainer, Maxwell Konadu, has hailed his players for their output in their stalemate with WAFA in the match-day eight fixtures.

The home dominance for the Academy Boys has been shaky in the ongoing season.

Kotoko’s lone goal scored at the Sogakope Sports Complex was ruled out by the center referee.

Despite failing to pick up all three maximum points, Konadu says he is impressed with his players.

“It was a fairly balanced game,” he told Asempa FM. “We tried to play them on a counter-attack but they sat very deep but we succeeded with our game plan.

“We have to watch the replay again and see if the goal we scored was a good goal because I am not sure about that but my players did well.”

Kotoko will be hosted by Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu before they welcome Ashgold to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in the match-day 10 fixtures.
