The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Central Regional Vice Chairman, arrested over his alleged role in some missing excavators and other equipment seized from illegal miners, has been charged.

Horace Ekow Ewusi has been charged for stealing, a statement issued by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) said.
Five other accomplices namely: Frederick Ewusi, Joel Asamoah, Adnan Haruna, Frank Gyan and John Arhin have also been charged for abetment of stealing.
All six suspects, the statement signed by Head of CID Public Affairs, DSP Juliana Obeng said, are currently in the custody of the police.
