Frank Nelson, Board Member of Hearts of Oak has urged the Ghana Football Association to adopt Legon Cities FC’s idea towards reviving Ghana football.
This is by using musicians in a bid to drawing supporters to the stadium.
Legon Cities, formerly known as Wa All-Stars who have been playing their games under floodlights at the Accra Sports Stadium, have had the likes of Shatta Wale, Kwesi Arthur and Medikal perform at their home games.
According to the former Executive Committee Member of the Ghana FA, the idea of using artiste to draw supporters to the Stadium is a great move and has, therefore, called on the GFA to adopt same.
“I think that part where Legon Cities have come in, is a big plus for Ghana Football and I think it should be encouraged not just for Legon Cities; even if the GFA can adopt a system of that nature I think it is something we will appreciate.”
