The football fan, who was mercilessly beaten by WBO Welterweight super champion, Patrick Allotey, has recounted how the incident happened.
Mr Allotey was captured on video delivering three quick stiff jabs to the face of the fan who has been identified as Micheal Siaw Agyemang.
The incident happened at the Accra Sports Stadium during the match-day six clash between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko which ended 2:1 in favour of the Porcupine Warriors.
The fan sustained a gash under his left eye which had to be stitched.
However, in an interview with Asempa FM on Sports Nite on Monday, the Kotoko supporter narrated how the incident happened.
According to him, he did not do anything provocative to merit those punches.
Mr Allotey could lose his boxing license as part of sanctions from Ghana Boxing Authority and other global boxing organisations, if the matter is escalated.
