Ghanaian comedian and actor, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, popularly known as Funny Face, has reacted to a lawsuit by an ex-lover based in the Unites States.
In a video posted on his Instagram page spotted by Adomonline.com, he dmitted he knows that particular woman and added that it was an issue of relationship gone bad, and more.
”Funny fans, relax, ego over her, don’t panic, it’s nothing serious. This a pure case of relationship gone bad that someone has gone to sit down and decide let me come back and disgrace him. Over one year breakup, you are now coming to say what?” he posted.

Mary Ama Boansi, through her lawyers, filed a suit against Funny Face, alleging the showbiz personality owes her about $53,105.53.
The writ mentioned that Madam Boansi, during her love relationship with Funny Face, provided financial assistance to the comedian upon request.
According to the writ, before the request was placed, Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, as the comedian is known in real life, promised to marry Boansi.

“Plaintiff avers that as their love affair grew stronger, the Defendant proposed to marry her; a proposal she gladly accepted,” the writ read. “Plaintiff avers that due to the Defendant’s proposal and promise to marry her, she took more than usual interest in affairs of the Defendant. That the Defendant was always requesting for financial assistance from her and she went beyond what is expected of an unmarried acquaintance to meet the unusual financial needs of the Defendant.”
Not only did Funny Face fail to deliver on his marriage promise; he has refused to pay back the money after several attempts, the writ added.
