The match-day five of the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League produced some exciting results at the various stadia with Chelsea maintaining their perfect run.
Hearts of Oak tamed Liberty Professionals at the Carl Reindorf Park at Dansoman and in Kumasi at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kotoko despite playing behind closed doors, defeated Ebusua Dwarfs 2:0.
Berekum Chelsea maintained their perfect run against Ashgold at the Len Clay Stadium on Saturday.
In all 15 goals were produced in match-day five.

Peter Sarkodie [Dreams FC]:
The Dreams FC shot-stopper was a delight to watch at their own turf at Dawu against Ashgold.
His ability to help the ‘Still Believe Boys’ to salvage all three points with a prompt save on the goal line to prevent high flying Ashgold from equalising was highly commendable and deserves a place in the team.
Defenders:
Christopher Nartey [Asante Kotoko]:
The Asante Kotoko defender was instrumental in their 2:0 victory over Ebusua Dwarfs at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The 26-year-old’s impressive display against the Mysterious club helped the Porcupine Warriors to return to winning ways despite playing behind closed doors.
Raddy Ovouka [Hearts of Oak]:
The young left-back exhibited some impressive performances against Liberty Professionals at Dansoman. He frustrated the forwards of the Scientific Soccer team at their own turf.
The Phobian club continued their unbeaten run with a 2:1 win at Dansoman.
Adams Mohammed [Berekum Chelsea]:
Adams also helped Chelsea to maintain their impressive run in the ongoing Premier League.
The 26-year-old almost touched every blade of grass at the Sogakope Astro-turf Park. Chelsea are yet to lose a game.
Zakaria Fuseini [Berekum Chelsea]:
The right-back was also a light to watch in their 1:0 win over Ashgold. His impressive display earned him a place in the team of the week.
Midfielders
Emmanuel Nettey [Hearts of Oak]:
Nettey, who has been touted as the new Michael Essien of Ghana Premier League, was sensational for the Phobian club.
The 27-year-old dominated the midfield against Liberty Professionals at Dansoman. He was on top of his game against WAFA in mid-week and maintained his fine form against the Scientific Soccer lads.
Attuquey Jona [Berekum Chelsea]:
The midfielder has been a revelation for the Joseph Asare Bediako’s side in the Premier League.
Jona was on top of his game for the Blues as they maintained their unbeaten run.
Fredrick Ansah Botchwey [Hearts of Oak]:
Despite not finding the back of the net, Frederick Anash also played a key role for the Phobians.
His solid performance earned a team in the team of the week.
Kofi Owusu [Berekum Chelsea]:
The youngster scored the only goal for Chelsea against Ashgold on Saturday. He was on top of his game at the Len Clay Stadium.
His dexterity on the flanks and productivity gave his side attacking hopes whenever on attack.
Strikers
Prince Owusu Agyeemang [Medeama SC]:
Despite losing to Dreams FC at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu, Prince Opoku Agyemang was sensational for Medeama SC.
Peter Sarkodie prevented the striker from finding the back of the net.
Emmanuel Gyamfi [Asante Kotoko]:
The striker was sensational for the Porcupine Warriors in their 2:0 win over Ebusua Dwarfs.
It’s the Porcupine Warrior’s first win in three games, having suffered two straight losses leading to the match.
