A resident of Dompoase in the Central region has revealed that, a similar accident between a tanker truck transporting diesel and an Intercity STC bus occurred at the same junction a decade ago.

The resident who gave his name as Amos Duah, made the revelation in an interview on Adom FM’s morning show, “Dwaso Nsem” on Wednesday.
According to him, circumstances that led to the accident 10 years ago is similar to what happened on Tuesday.

That accident, Mr. Duah stressed claimed a lot of lives.
The Dompoase-Komenda accident which occurred around midnight on Tuesday, is believed to have been caused by a Takoradi-bound red VVIP bus which attempted to overtake another vehicle when it collided with an Accra-bound VVIP white bus.
