A Kotoko supporter who was shot by police during disturbances after the club’s 0-1 loss at home to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday is stable and responding to treatment.
The Kumasi-based club said they are following the development and will duly update their followers.
The victim of this afternoon's shooting incident at the Baba Yara Stadium is currently stable and responding to treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

The fan whose identity has not been disclosed is receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the Ashanti Regional capital.
He was ferried away in a police ambulance after being hit by a seemingly stray bullet from the law enforcers who tried to disperse the raging crowd with warning shots.
Eyewitnesses, however, told JoyNews some of the officers aimed at the crowd, one of them hitting the victim as a result.
What happened during Sunday’s game?
The GhPL game week three match between Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea turned into drama after a Porcupine Warrior defender was sent off.
Empem Dacosta was shown a second yellow card for stepping on Alfred, a Chelsea player who down on the turf.
The referee’s decision did not go down well with the home fans who believed the brawl was between Kwame Adom, a different Kotoko player and an opposition player.
Fans of the two time African champions, bent on avenging the red card, started throwing bottles and sachets of water onto the field.

This halted the game for several minutes towards the end.
After the match, referee, Charles Bulu and his assistants had to be heavily guarded before being able to leave the pitch.
The prolonged disturbance after the game caused the law enforcers to fire shots, reportedly at the crowd.
