National Women’s League chair vows not to repeat mistakes

Chairperson of the National Women’s League Committee, Madam Hillary Boateng, has said she is determined not to repeat her mistakes as she seeks to improve the 2019/20 Women’s League.

She has also called on all clubs to improve on their performances to ensure a competitive and attractive season.

“Mistakes that have been made in the past will be corrected as we take steady steps forward to make the Women’s league attractive.

“As we prepare for the big kick-off, I will like to urge all the clubs to put their houses in order so that they reap the benefits of their hard-work in May when the league ends.

“Although the trophy will be annexed by only one club, we expect a very competitive and enjoyable season,” she told Asempa FM.

Hilary also assured the clubs that a Committee is working around the clock with the Ghana FA to secure sponsorship for the 2020 season.

She added that the Committee was deliberating on strategies geared towards improving all-female club competitions.

The National Women’s League kicks off on the weekend of 17-19 January 2020 across the country.
