Even before poll ends in the ongoing District Assembly and Unit Committee elections, an aspiring Assembly Member has already fulfilled his campaign promise.

Nana Adabor Ibrahim Isaah Ampim, an aspiring Assembly Member for Adukrom Nima Electoral Area in the Ashanti region, promised to serve his constituents porridge for breakfast every morning should he win.

To demonstrate his commitment, Mr Ampim, popularly known as Honourable Aponkye, on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 prepared the porridge to increase his chances of winning the polls.
Elated constituents were seen rushing to his house for their porridge before going to cast their vote.
