Conductor of Pentecost Preparatory School in Koforidua, Eastern region, was crushed to death while attempting to jump on the moving vehicle.
The 55-year-old deceased, identified only as Ofori Atta, was responsible for assisting pupils board, alight the bus and safely cross the road.

On that fateful day, the deceased, however, missed his steps while attempting to jump on the moving vehicle to clench onto a metal bar at the passengers gate after assisting a pupil to cross safely at Agartha Market road.
He reportedly hit the side of the bus and crashed onto the tarred road as the school bus run over him, killing him on the spot.

The accident attracted scores of people to the scene while his lifeless body was carried and sent to the morgue by the Police.
Reacting to the death, parents explained how their wards have been traumatised over the incident they witnessed.
