President Nana Akufo-Addo is optimistic the government has demonstrated much commitment towards developing Ghana’s economy which makes their economic statistics not mere statistics.

According to him, his government was left with the slowest growing economy in 2016 under 3.6% which had lasted over a decade coupled with big fiscal deficit and inflation rate.

“Our economy is projected as one of the fastest growing economies in the world and over the last three years, it has been rated at 3.6%,” he said.
