SaveOurData is the newest consumers-based social media campaign by Ghanaians who have expressed rage at telecommunication companies (Telcos) operating in Ghana.
The anger being expressed by those who have joined the campaign via the hashtag, #SaveOurData, say as internet data gets expensive, services provided to the telcos continue to be poor.
Kofi Sarkcesssss, one of the campaigners tweeting at the name @Zerubbel_99 poured his frustration about how a particular telco had reduced the values of their bundle.

It would be recalled that telcos increased their data and internet bundle prices after the government, through the Communication Ministry, increased Communication Service Tax (CST) 3 to 9 per cent, effective November 2019.
The increment has led to lots of complaints and confusion on social media where most customers say they are not getting the value for the money they pay for internet.
Hanson Quaershie, another person who joined the campaign via the handle, @Champion_Carter, asked for caution, insisting the increases are as a result of the Communication Service Tax imposed by government.
Other contributors also complained about poor customer service, where they are made to hold on for longer hours without being attended to.
Some of the customers have served notice of their readiness to embark on a demonstration if the various telcos do nothing about their complaints.
