NPP insists NDC has no social intervention up North

-

Regional Communicators of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the five regions of the North say Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia’s statement that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has no social intervention policy up north, is true.

A statement by the five regional communicators  claimed projects listed by NDC as legacies of former president John Mahama were wrongly attributed because the NDC had nothing to show.

The statement said in the 8 years of the NDC, all the party did was to pay lip service to providing something concrete for the people of the North.

“Poverty and hunger coupled with lack of initiatives killed the spirit of the hardworking people of the North,” the statement said.

According to them, the incompetence and corrupt tendencies of Mr Mahama rather eroded the gains made by the government of President Kufuor, thereby worsening the plight of the people.

Even though the communicators claim the NDC had nothing to show for the eight years of their rule, they they, however, took on each listed project under the former President and justified why they are no legacies of his.
