A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Gabby Asare Otchere-Darko, has ridiculed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for its decision to collate ideas from Ghanaians as input into the party’s manifesto ahead of the 2020 elections.
The former Director of Danquah Institute has interpreted the move by the NDC to mean it has nothing to offer Ghanaians on their own or are unprepared.

The NDC in a press release signed by the Deputy General Secretary on Sunday, November 3, entreated Ghanaians and Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) to share their ideas as they would be inputted into their manifesto for the 2020 elections.
But, Mr Otchere-Darko ridiculed the ‘collation of ideas’ from the public with the phrase: “The alternative is empty.”
