The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has issued new directives on auction of goods at the ports.
The new directive was announced in a statement signed by the Acting Commissioner, Customs Division at GRA, Colonel Kwadwo Damoah, which outlined the processes through which goods in the custody of the GRA can be cleared.
“The ratio of distribution of goods by the GRA will now involve 70 per cent allocation to the General Public, while 30 per cent goes to the Confiscated Assets Committee,” it said.
