GFA Elections: Palmer’s appeal against disqualification rejected

Wilfred Kwaku Osei’s appeal following his disqualification from contesting Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidency has been rejected by the Normalisation Committee.

Mr Osei, popularly known as Palmer, was disqualified from contesting the presidential elections by the Normalisation Committee acting as the Election Committee upon recommendations from the Vetting Committee.

The Normalisation Committee said Palmer breached regulations on ethics and mandatory payments to the GFA in relation to player transfers.

He was given the chance to appeal the decision before Tuesday, October 8, 2019 deadline.

Palmer confirmed submitting his appeal on Monday, October 7, 2019.
