Proprietor of the Obengfo Hospital, located at Weija in Accra, Dr Dominic Kwame Obeng-Andoh, says he feels vindicated following the decision by an Accra Circuit Court Four to acquit him.
According to him, he is grateful to God for seeing him through these hard times but he strongly believes some elements in the country, especially in the health sector only wanted him jailed for no reason and tarnish his image.

“I really thank God for how far he has brought me and what he keeps doing in my life. Some people who just want to tarnish my image and see me rot in jail I know are behind this. The ‘pull him down’ attitude is very bad and so it’s high time we put a stop to it,” he told Accra based Okay FM, monitored by Adomonline.com.

Dr Obeng-Andoh was charged for being an unregistered practitioner and operating an unlicensed health facility, but the court did not find him culpable per the way the charges were framed by prosecution.
To the embattled doctor, he believes justice has been served by the court.

He said the evidence against him was discredited and insufficient, thus, leaving the court not convinced and unimpressed about the veracity of the case.
He said his facility is opened and is still receiving patients who patronise his hospital.
