Money for Creative Arts Council studio not received – Okraku-Mantey

-

President of the Creative Arts Council, Mark Okraku-Mantey, has revealed that money allocated for the construction of the Creative Arts Council studio has not yet been received.

This comes on the back of complaints from industry players on the delay of the construction of the ultra-modern studio for the creative arts industry.

Speaking in an interview via phone on Hitz FM’s Showbiz Review, he explained that, the construction of the studio had not seen a take-off because some industry players didn’t show interest.

“We don’t want to build anything that the industry will not patronise, for it to come across that you just gathered to build something just to make yourself happy,” he said.

He, however, expressed the hope that more industry players would show more interest in the construction of the studio.

Since its inauguration, not much has been heard from the Council with many industry players concluding that it was just a facade by the government to create the impression it cared about the sector.
