Holland based Ghanaian songstress, Nana Fofie, has recounted her encounter with superstar rapper Nicki Minaj.
The songstress gained attention last year when Nicki was spotted jamming to her cover song on Instagram after which she commended her.
According to the songstress, the award winning rapper listened to her songs on two different occasions and felt in love with her.
She said “the first time she heard of me was in a club in London and the second time was a make-up tutorial from someone on Twitter and she realised it was the same person.”
The musician added she finally met the ‘Anaconda’ hit maker when she was lucky enough to join her as an opening act for her fourth concert in Holland.
“I was having mixed feelings about meeting her because I didn’t even know if it was real or not but when I met her in her dressing room in real life it was so amazing and overwhelming. She was so nice to me, she kept motivating me and we had a great time,” she said.
Speaking in an interview on Hitz FM’s Day Break Hitz, she said it was God’s plan for them to meet.
“I don’t feel it was luck I believe it’s God’s plan and I believe it was written and it was meant to happen,” she added.
