It has emerged that one of the human remains of the missing girls in Takoradi in the Western region had beads around the retrieved skeleton.
Rebecca Quayson, sister of one of the victims, Ruth Love Quayson revealed this on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme, Wednesday.

She noted that the assertion by one of the investigators on the case was to convince the family that indeed the bones are those of their daughters.
But, young Quayson said the family considers it as a cock and bull story because the members are still confident Ruth is alive.
“This is one of the Kwaku Anase stories the police told us. How can a skeleton still have beads around its waist?” she quizzed.
Police on August 2, 2019 found human remains from a septic tank behind the previous residence of the key suspect, Sam Udeotuk Wills.
After about a month, the DNA test proved the skeletons were those of the missing girls, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, Ruth Love Quayson, Priscilla Mantebea and Ruth Abakah, aged between 18 and 21.
They lived at Diabene and Kansaworodo in the Western region and were kidnapped in 2018.

The families have since rejected the test results and said the police failed to make the process transparent.
She added that apart from a verbal communication from the police, they were not given the opportunity to see the bones before the DNA test.
