Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah has entreated young people not to be fooled by what they see on social media as most people are living fake lives in that space.
According to Martha who said she commands over 1.5 million followers on social media, she has been using social media to impact the lives of the youth by educating them.
I want people to know that you can still live a good and decent life in today’s modern world; you don’t need to follow the crowd, the actress said as she appeared on Adom TV’s Aben Show.
Martha who spoke to the host of the show, Cynthia Tima Yeboah, also, known as Tima Kumkum, on a wide range of issues also blamed the dwindling fortunes of the Ghanaian Movie industry on local television channels.
The actress has blamed the preponderance of foreign telenovelas on local channels for their inability to do well in the market.
Martha noted that acting is the only job that has no retirement age because even 90-year-olds can be cast in movies to play roles irrespective of their ages.
She has, therefore, advised industry players to take a good look at the industry.
