Head coach of Hellas Verona, Ivan Juric, has expressed hope that Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu will return to full fitness after suffering blood clot illness (pulmonary microembolism).
Agyemang-Badu joined the Gialloblu on a season-long loan from Udinese this summer.
But, the 28-year-old is yet to feature for the club in the ongoing Italian Serie A campaign after he was diagnosed of a pulmonary embolism last month after he was rushed to the hospital.

The defensive enforcer is recovering from the ailment, and coach Juric — who was hugely impressed with the midfielder during pre-season, expressed hope that it was only a matter of time before he had the Ghanaian as an option for games.
“We all know the quality of the player and the situation was a big surprise to us all,” Juric said soon after Badu’s illness.
“The report I have from the medical team is that he is in a good place and should be able to come back in after a few more tests.”
