It has emerged that the confidant of the prime suspect in the killing of two policemen at Gomoa Buduburum, Eric Kojo Duah, made a major contribution to his arrest.
According to reports, his arrested on Friday, August 30, 2019, gave the police the lead to accost the fugitive who tried to flee to the Volta Region.

Adom News’ Kofi Adjei who followed the story said the suspect was part of onlookers who massed up at the police station with the sole intention to sniff for information for his boss.
“This suspect was at the police station when his colleagues were arrested so he had information about what the police will do next,” Kofi Adjei reported on Adom FM’s morning show, Dwaso Nsem programme Monday.

Kofi said luck, however, eluded him when the police arrested him at his hide-out at Buduburum camp Friday evening.
Upon his arrest, he was communicating with the fugitive who was then on his way to Togo en route Atimpoku in the Eastern Region.

Kofi Adjei said it was through their communication that the suspect was apprehended.
