Former Attorney General, Betty Mould-Iddrisu says she is optimistic that many of the women who managed to contest in the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries will emerge victorious.
According to her, though she is disappointed in the number of women contesting in the primaries, she believes the number will not affect their results at the end.
Speaking in an interview with Adom News during a visit to the Madina-Abokobi constituency, she said “although the party put in measures to push women to participate and compete, the number is still not encouraging.”
