Teachers fully equipped to teach new curriculum – GES

-

Director of Pre-tertiary Education at the Ghana Education Service (GES), Catherine Agyapomaa Appiah-Pinkrah says all is set for the roll out of the new curriculum in September.

According to her, all teachers across the country have been schooled on the new curriculum guide.

Speaking at the 3rd Graduation ceremony of the Crystal Height International School at Amasaman, Madam Appiah-Pinkrah assured stakeholders not to worry because the new curriculum will improve the standard of education in Ghana.

“The new curriculum is going to ensure quality teaching and learning processes and equip the students to compete globally” she added.

Meanwhile, Director of Crystal Height International School, Emmanuel Dadzi called on government to deplore more volunteers to various private schools to help empower them to teach the new curriculum.

The new education curriculum was launched by the Ghana Education Service in April as part of ongoing reforms in the education sector and seeks to make education more responsive to human resource and development needs of Ghana.
