Apart from using her performance at the 2019 Ghana World Music Festival to visit Ghana, Canadian singer, Deborah Cox says visiting Ghana has always been her dream.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Friday ahead of the World Music Festival Concert, described her presence in Ghana as “a dream come true”.
According to the singer who served as a backing vocalist for Celine Dion, her parents were well into the Ghanaian culture hence it was a destination she couldn’t skip in her life.

Deborah talked about tasting Ghanaian food, interacting with local artistes and also tour parts of the country to make the “Year of Return” celebration.
Seated in an interview with the Music Man, Kojo Antwi, who is also set to to perform at the event, she enjoyed every one of his songs.
Deborah Cox’s songs, Sentimental, Who Do U Love, We Can’t be Friends, which were released about 2 decades ago were major hits that patrons are bound to enjoy.
Debora has five albums – Deborah Cox (1995), One Wish (1998), The Morning After (2002), Destination Moon (2007), The Promise (2008) – to her credit.

All roads lead to the Fantasy Dome at the Trade Fair this weekend for the 2019 Ghana Music World Festival.
Ghanaian music maestro Kojo Antwi, reggae and dancehall artiste, Samini; Jamaican reggae band, Third World; Jamaican Jazz and reggae artiste, Ernie Smith; Jazz artiste, Irvin Mayfield, Lamisi and a host of others are set to thrill patrons at the concert.
